Adaptive Reuse Video Presentations
Students from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment recently presented short video proposals exploring innovative adaptive reuse ideas for several historic sites, including the Casselberry Property and Evansburg State Park locations such as the Changing House, Keyser Mill, McDonald Farm, and the Fredit Visitor Center.
Their creative concepts included museums, restaurants, performing arts spaces, pump stations, health spas, learning centers, maker studios, and more. We were incredibly impressed by the thoughtful research, imagination, and effort the students brought to these projects. Their work demonstrates how historic places can be reimagined in ways that honor the past while creating meaningful opportunities for community connection and future use.
